Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: EPA and state rule changes and deadlines on lead paint, lead service lines, radon and asbestos for homeowners, landlords, sellers and contractors; free and discounted radon and lead test kit programs opening by state or city; lead service line inventory publications, replacement schedules and customer sign-up windows by utility; lead findings and actions on toys, cookware, food, cosmetics and school and daycare water; remediation grants, forgivable loans and tax credits; contractor certification enforcement actions; and disclosure rule changes at sale or lease. Prefer EPA, state health and environment departments, water utilities, CPSC, FDA, city programs and established local reporting; ignore remediation company marketing. Put the rule, city, utility or program first in the title with the deadline or amount. Use high severity for a free test kit program, a replacement sign-up window closing within 30 days, a rule taking effect within 90 days, or a lead finding in a product most households have.
