Headset and smart glasses launches with prices, price cuts and bundles, app store sales and free titles, platform policy and account changes, firmware updates that add or remove features, comfort and safety recalls, device end-of-support dates, fitness and enterprise app subscription changes and developer store fee changes, with the device or platform first and the price beside it.
A $499 headset at $299 the month before a new model, a free app week, a firmware update that adds hand tracking to an older device, or an end-of-support date that ends the app store are each worth the year, and the Tab times the purchase.

Track VR headsets and smart glasses. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: device launches with prices and ship dates, price cuts of 15 percent or more and bundles for Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, PlayStation VR2, Valve, HTC Vive, Pico, Pimax, Bigscreen, Meta Ray-Ban and Oakley glasses, Xreal, Viture, Rokid, Even Realities and Google and Samsung Android XR devices; app store sales, free titles and subscription changes at the Meta Horizon Store, Apple App Store, PlayStation Store, Steam and Supernatural and FitXR; platform policy, account, age and privacy changes; firmware updates that add features or cause widely reported problems; recalls and safety notices; end-of-support and store shutdown dates; and developer fee and revenue share changes. Prefer manufacturer announcements, store pages, price-history tools and established XR reporting; ignore rumors, leaks and affiliate roundups without price history. Put the device or platform first in the title with the price and the previous price. Use high severity for a price cut of 25 percent on a current headset, an end-of-support date, a recall, or a policy change affecting most users. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what changed, the price, the window, what to do, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
