Theme Park Watch

Why this is recommended

A pass sale, a free-dining promotion or a ticket price increase with a lock-in window is a $200 to $1,000 decision for a family of four, and a ride closure changes which week to go.

What the Tab covers

Who it is for

Families planning a park trip in the next year, and the annual pass holders who go every month.

When it runs

Parks announce ticket, pass and reservation changes mid-week with dates a family can plan around

Scope

Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Orlando, Universal Hollywood, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks, Dollywood, Hersheypark, Knott's Berry Farm and LEGOLAND; ticket, pass and parking prices and sale windows, reservation and line-skip rules, ride openings and refurbishments, hotel and dining promotions, access and bag policies, holiday hours and blockouts

Suggested task

The objective your Tab starts with. You can edit every line of it once the Tab is yours.

Ticket and annual pass price changes and sale windows, reservation and line-skip rule changes, new ride openings, refurbishment closures, hotel and dining promotions, holiday hours and blockouts and policy changes for strollers, disabilities and food, with the park first in the title.

Track Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Orlando, Universal Hollywood, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks, Dollywood, Hersheypark, Knott's Berry Farm and LEGOLAND. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: ticket, annual pass and parking price changes and pass sale or renewal windows; reservation, line-skip and virtual queue rule changes; ride and land openings and refurbishment closures with dates; hotel, dining and package promotions; disability access, stroller, food and bag policy changes; and holiday hours and blockout changes. Prefer park pages, official blogs and established theme park reporting; ignore rumors and unverified social posts. Put the park first in the title with the date and the price. Use high severity for a price increase with a lock-in window, a pass sale, or a major ride closure over 30 days. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what changed, who it affects, what to do, the deadline, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
