Predictive scheduling and fair workweek laws by city and state, tip credit, tip pooling and service charge rules, tips-on-taxes changes, scheduling app and time clock changes at the largest chains, paid sick leave and break rules, wage theft settlements with claims and policy changes at the 25 largest hourly employers, with the employer, city or rule first.
Predictability pay of $40 a shift for a last-minute change, a tip pool rule that returns $300 a month, or a settlement claim worth $500 are each rights the worker only gets by knowing. The Tab reads the laws and the chain policies so the worker reads one brief.

Track rights and pay rules for US hourly workers. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: fair workweek, predictive scheduling and predictability pay laws and enforcement in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Oregon and other jurisdictions; federal and state tip credit, tip pooling, service charge and tax-on-tips rule changes; paid sick leave, rest and meal break and clopening rule changes by state; scheduling app, time clock, pay frequency and policy changes at Walmart, Amazon, Target, Starbucks, McDonald's, Home Depot, Kroger, Chipotle, UPS and the other 25 largest hourly employers; and wage theft settlements and enforcement actions with claims processes. Prefer city and state labor agencies, DOL, employer announcements, court documents and established labor reporting; ignore unverified social posts. Put the employer, city or rule first in the title with the date and the money involved. Use high severity for a law taking effect within 30 days, a policy change at an employer with 100,000 or more hourly workers, or a settlement with a claim deadline. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what changed, who it affects, how to use it, the deadline, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
