Airport & Lounge Watch

Why this is recommended

A lounge rule that drops guests on a date, a parking rate that jumps $10 a day, a checkpoint closed for construction or a terminal move on the morning of the flight each cost money and a missed flight. One heads-up a season pays the year.

What the Tab covers

Suggested task

The objective your Tab starts with. You can edit every line of it once the Tab is yours.

Lounge access rule and fee changes, new lounge openings and closures, security wait and checkpoint changes, terminal moves and construction closures, parking rate changes and new options, ground transportation and rideshare pickup changes, airport Wi-Fi and amenity changes and TSA and CBP program changes at the 30 busiest US airports, with the airport or program first.

Track the 30 busiest US airports for travelers. Report only confirmed, source-backed items from the last 7 days: lounge access rule, guest policy and fee changes, openings and closures at American Express Centurion, Chase Sapphire, Capital One, Delta Sky Club, United Club, American Admirals Club, Alaska Lounge and Priority Pass; TSA checkpoint hour, lane, PreCheck and wait time changes; terminal moves, airline relocations, construction closures and gate changes with dates; parking rate changes, lot closures and new reservation systems; rideshare, taxi, shuttle and transit pickup changes; and airport amenity, Wi-Fi and accessibility changes. Prefer airport pages, lounge program pages, TSA, airline notices and established travel reporting; ignore unverified traveler posts. Put the airport or program first in the title with the date. Use high severity for a lounge access rule change affecting most cardholders, a terminal move within 14 days, or a parking rate increase of 20 percent or more. Return no more than 6 findings. Push each as a finding with a title, a two-sentence summary, sections for what changed, who it affects, what to do, the date, and the source link. If nothing qualifies, push nothing and submit the run receipt.
