Murray entered the NFL concussion protocol after an illegal hit knocked him out of his Vikings debut (Week 1 vs. Packers).
Coach Kevin O’Connell said Murray arrived at team facilities "feeling pretty good" and was in meetings and video review.
O’Connell emphasized the team will "defer to the medical folks and that protocol" and will take Murray’s recovery "day to a time."
Carson Wentz relieved Murray in Week 1 and threw three touchdowns in the comeback win.
O’Connell indicated Wentz would start if Murray does not clear the protocol; J.J. McCarthy would be the backup.
The Vikings also have practice-squad QB Max Brosmer available as emergency depth.
The team did not provide a projected return date and said they will "take it a day at a time."
Murray could participate in certain non-contact activities during the process if medically cleared.
Vikings travel to the Chicago Bears in Week 2; a failure to clear would make Wentz the starter for that game.
