Chop Robinson out Thursday, Dolphins likely to elevate edge help for Week 2
Robinson’s absence would remove Miami’s top pass-rushing option from Sunday’s roster and force the Dolphins to use emergency elevations on the edge and possibly at long snapper, changing depth and special-teams configurations.

Robinson did not practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday and is in the concussion protocol.
Linebacker Ronnie Harrison remained out with a hamstring; Malik Willis and Dante Trader were full participants.
Long snapper Tucker Addington (shoulder) and TE Seydou Traore (thumb/Achilles) were limited in practice.
If Robinson is unavailable Sunday, Miami would have three active edge defenders: Josh Uche, Robert Beal Jr. and Malik Herring.
The Dolphins previously elevated Clelin Ferrell for Week 1; SI lists him as the likeliest option for another elevation.
Practice-squad edges (Max Llewellyn, Rodney McGraw, Amari Gainer) also provide emergency options.
Addington was limited after injuring his shoulder making a tackle on a punt return vs. the Raiders.
If Addington is unavailable, Miami would likely elevate long-snapper Cal Adomitis from the practice squad for the game.
That elevation would affect roster spots and possibly special-teams alignments on game day.
