share of $10M
As stated when published. The offer's own page has the final word.
Forbes Media agreed to a $10M settlement over claims trackers on its websites (including the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Bing UET tag, and Xandr tracker) shared California visitors' IP addresses and unique identifiers with third parties without consent. No documents are needed — one sworn statement that you accessed a Forbes site while in California. This is not the older Forbes video-privacy settlement.
DEADLINE: November 9, 2026 (online or postmarked)
PAYOUT: Pro rata share of $10,000,000; plaintiffs estimate roughly $32–$189 per approved claim depending on claim rate
WHO QUALIFIES: California residents who accessed a Forbes-owned or controlled website between December 20, 2023 and June 11, 2026 and had covered data shared via the trackers
