Giants signed DL Josh Tupou to their 53-man roster on Wednesday, per Giants Wire.
Tupou originally signed with the Giants in May and spent training camp with the club before the practice-squad stint.
The move was made ahead of New York’s Monday night game in Los Angeles.
Tupou is a 6-foot-3, 350-pound interior defensive lineman with prior NFL starting experience.
Career totals include 71 games with 23 starts, 94 tackles and three sacks.
His presence gives the Giants another option to clog running lanes and rotate inside vs. the Rams’ offensive line.
