Amazon is in talks to acquire Decart, an AI software startup that helps developers switch between AI chips, for about $7B, the Wall Street Journal reported. The deal would support Amazon's push to make better use of its custom Trainium processors as AI workloads grow. Shares were little changed premarket as the talks remain unconfirmed with no rival bidder disclosed yet.
