Play #11: Write a $300 welcome-email sequence for one shop
A small online shop with a signup form but no welcome emails is leaving its easiest sale on the table. Draft a 5-email welcome sequence with Muse, polish it by hand, and charge a flat $300 for the set.

Buyer: a Shopify or Etsy seller with a signup form but no welcome flow. Deliverable: 5 short emails — welcome, brand story, bestsellers, first-order nudge, check-in — plus subject lines. Price: $300 flat for the set, half up front; 2026 benchmarks put single emails at $100–$500 and 3–5-email welcome sequences typically at $800–$3,000, so $300 is entry pricing.
Ask the shop for its story, top 3 products, and any discount it will honour. Draft all 5 emails in Muse, then rewrite each in the shop's own voice — never ship raw output. Load the finished sequence into the shop's email tool (Klaviyo, Mailchimp) or hand over a doc.
Search Etsy or Shopify shops in one niche, sign up for their lists, and note which send nothing in 48 hours. Pitch 5 a day with one sample email written for their shop. Expect most to ignore you; one yes a week is a good start.
No guaranteed income — the first sale is the hard part, and a shop's list size caps what your sequence can do. Budget 6–8 hours per client including pitching and revisions. Your edge is speed and a finished sample, not a promise of sales.
