In this brief: 4 sections 2 min read
    • Active Memory helps Muse remember what matters from earlier conversations
    • It tells temporary information from lasting facts and spots details that have gone stale
    • On Meta's own test, Muse used critical context correctly in 90% of tasks, up from 76%
    • Active Focus is about persistence when a task hits an unexpected problem
    • The model is supposed to retry, recover or find another route instead of giving up
    • Meta reports a 67% improvement in finishing everyday tasks where something goes wrong
    • The new models are specialized versions of Meta's existing models, trained using Wonder
    • Wonder itself, launched October 12, stays reserved for harder tasks by paying subscribers
    • Free users get the Wonder-trained behavior; the frontier model stays behind the paywall
    • The same model swap reaches Meta AI in WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger
    • Meta says the assistant now breaks complex problems into clear steps and asks sharper questions
    • All figures are Meta's own benchmarks, with no task counts or independent testing
