- TestingCatalog reported Oct. 25 that a Share option surfaced alongside avatar-editing controls
- Selecting it opens a pop-up showing the animated avatar
- Options include sharing across social platforms or copying an automatically generated link
- Users can preview avatars in four states, including a working mode
- Meta introduced Muse Realtime Avatar at Connect, bringing animated avatars into live conversations
- The avatar acts as Muse's face: the identity a user talks to and recognizes across sessions
- Shareable avatars could become things people show off and trade
- TestingCatalog suggests community galleries or avatar stores are possible, but Meta has not announced them
- It is unclear whether users will be able to save multiple avatars and switch between them
- Support for sharing entire agents, previously explored by Meta, is also uncertain
- The report does not say whether shared avatars carry over settings or only appearance
- Practical takeaway: do not expect a Share option on your web avatar yet
