Meta launches Muse Gadgets, an open-source hardware platform for DIY Muse devices

Meta introduced Muse Gadgets on Oct 2: an open-source ESP32 firmware and Linux SDK letting developers build their own Muse-connected hardware — e-ink displays, HDMI sticks, Raspberry Pi setups — wired to displays, buttons, sensors and actuators. Meta's own example, Muse Home Link, is a USB-C-powered device linking Muse to a home network's speakers and smart TVs. Meta made 5,000 Home Links and is giving them away free to Muse subscribers while supplies last, claimable at gadgets.muse.ai. Developers are already hacking — Federico Viticci turned an eReader into an always-on MagSafe Muse display.
